Molykote® D-321 R Anti-Friction Lubricant

For metal/metal combinations with slow to medium-fast movements and high loads; Suitable for the permanent lubrication of highly stressed sliding guides with low sliding speeds, oscillating movements or intermittent operation; Improving the running-in process and for lubrication under high vacuum and at extreme temperatures; Used successfully for cylinderhead bolts, toaster guides, car mirror adjustment mechanisms, high voltage switches, assembly and thread connection as well as shrink discs for wind turbines, for the running in of highly stressed gear wheel; Emergency lubricant for parts of the rotor head of wind energy installations and for groove-free cold extrusion of steel.

Primary Use

Long-term “dry” lubrication where air drying formulation is desired.

Special Characteristics

Will not attract contaminants; easy to apply; dries to touch in seconds; cures at room temperature; extreme loads at low speeds.

Physical Form

Dispersion of MoS 2, graphite and resin in solvent; cures to a dark gray, dry film lubricant.

How To Use

1. Clean & Degrease Surface Completely
2. Stir/Shake MOLYKOTE® D-321 R
3. Apply uniform coating (5-20 μm thick) by brushing or spraying surface
4. Let dry for 5 minutes at 23°C (73°F) or speed up drying process with heated air at 80°C (176°F).
