MOLYKOTE® Silicone compounds are grease-like lubricants containing silicone fluids and inert silicone fillers. These silicone compounds are resistant to oxidation and thermal degradation while maintaining their properties over a wide temperature range. They are designed as release agents and may be used as O-ring assembly lubricants, non-conductors of electricity, non-curing sealants, and as assembly lubricants for plastic and rubber parts. Dielectric silicone compounds may be used for applications where they function in a dual role as both lubricant and sealant. These products are certified (NSF 61) for use in food and beverage applications, as well as uses involving potable water.
NLGI Grade 3-4, translucent white, o-ring and valve lucricant and sealant. Good resistance to most chemicals; Wide service temperature range; Low vapor pressure; Low volatility; Excellent water resistance. Meets NSF 51 & NSF 61; Meets FDA 21 CFR 175.300.
Starting at $1.29
NLGI Grade 3, translucent white, used primarily as a general purpose valve lubricant with high mechanical shear stability and high temperature range. Offers excellent protection from water washout, while being resistant to most chemicals. Typically in stock.
White, non-flowing, highly filled compound, good thermal conductivity. Primarily used for thermal coupling of electrical/electronic devices to heat sinks.
Starting at $68.55
NLGI Grade 3, translucent light gray, used primarily for insulators and high current switches given it has the highest dielectric strength. Nonconductive; water repellent; helps preven formation of conductive paths; long-lasting.
Starting at $46.12
A versatile, heat stable, highly effective silicone release agent. Used with plastics, rubber, metals and adhesives, it gives long-lasting release, yet remains inert to most materials. Used primarily as a release agent or cable-pulling lubricant. Meets FDA 21 CFR 175.300; Meets NSF 51 & 61
Starting at $24.88
NLGI Grade 3-4, translucent white, used primarily in sealing vacuum and pressure systems. Good resistance to most chemicals; Wide service temperature range; Low vapor pressure; Low volatility; Excellent water resistance. Meets FDA 21 CFR 175.300.
Starting at $35.33
