Molykote dispersions are solids or other lubricants suspended in lubricating fluids. Silicone dispersions are preferred where it is necessary to apply solid lubricants in liquid form to units in operation or to otherwise inaccessible points. Some dispersions serve as anti-wear and extreme pressure additives for lubricating oils like gear and engine oils.
